Susan has lived in Trophy Club for more than 28 years. She began her rescue work in 2012, and has a deep passion for taking care of all animals!

Vice President
Jason McGrew lives in Trophy Club and has been friends with the Edstrom family for 25 years.
Jodi Ashby
Secretary
Jodi lives in Trophy Club and has been a friend of the Edstrom family for more than 20 years. She adopted her foster-failure, Meadow, from Susan and has owned many pets over her lifetime.

Alyssa Edstrom
Communications and Multimedia
Alyssa lives in Fort Worth with her boyfriend Michael and they have two rescue pups! Alyssa adopted Beau, an 8-year-old Bichon Frise Schanuzer mix, from HSNT in 2011. Michael and Alyssa adopted Duke, a 6-year-old German Shepherd, from DFW German Shepherd Rescue in 2016. She shares her mother's love for all animals, but has yet to hit the lottery and win enough money to adopt the millions of pets she wants someday.
Dave Edstrom
Coordinator of Everything
Dave has been married to Susan for 25 years and claimed the title of "everything" coordinator because he's always ready to take care of what needs to be done for their dogs and cats, and the animals that come through the rescue. His various duties include, but are not limited to, driving kittens to vet appointments, shopping the sales for food and kitty litter, volunteering at adoption events, sorting donations, and listening to his wife talk about anything and everything related to animal rescue!
